Pros

Surrounded by a few young spirits who come with a different perspective of how a company should work.

Cons

The whole tech stack is a joke. I had to attend presentations where some simple C++11 snippets were displayed together with benchmarks on how they performed on Windows and Linux. another one showing the advantages of not using "loops" in R, compared to Python. Some "data scientists" who didn't know ML at all claimed a few times that <>. Sure, it can be to pull different data from different sources, but their use cases were quite simple. The two out of three leading co-founders are simply poised with the Dunning-Kruger effect, over-emphasizing and hyperbolizing their mere achievements. The third one, the actual technical one, is a decent and down to earth fellow, but he doesn't have much to say in the company's direction. The first two who sail the ship are just pulling out all the air in the room. If you're a fresh graduate from TUM or some other part of the world and you think this can be a good start in your career, then think again. It's not worth it. If you're smart enough go to Amazon, Google, some BMW technical departments, where you can learn much more. All in all, an army of BI analysts and data integrators from different sources who keep the company going to fake it till they make it. Maybe CEO's dream to have his IPO in 2023 (postponed from 2020) might become true and his ego inflate even more.
