      Ultimately a Great Company

      Pros

      Great product with huge market potential. Great benefits. Above average pay. Incredible team.

      Cons

      Not a con so much as area for growth. The Celonis product offerings are once in a generation in terms of impact for our customers and environmental sustainability. We could be a company that offers a once in a generation employee experience as well. The reason Google was able to grow as large and as fast as it did wasn't just b/c the tech was ground breaking but because the way they treated employees was also ground breaking.

      More pros than cons

      Pros

      Best part was the people - Celonis employees are kind, intelligent, and supportive of helping their colleagues succeed. I met people there that are dear friends now even after leaving the company. I learned more in my short time at Celonis about how to be successful in sales than I probably would have at any other company. The skills I developed at here set me up for success in my next career move and I would recommend this experience overall because of everything I learned. Company RSU's are also pretty generous.

      Cons

      I really hated the continual extra company assignments that felt like homework after I was already stretched thin with my work load. BDR and AE alignment negatively affects the team, hurting quota attainment, and if you're unlucky with who you're assigned to, you're at a disadvantage. I thought I would like the hybrid model for office attendance but there was a really weird atmosphere, being optional but also pressured. Ultimately I felt burnt out quickly.

      Medium Sized Company, with a Start Up spirit, poised for greatness.

      Pros

      Tons of opportunity to apply your years of honed skills and extensive experience to a growing company - you will be able to leave your mark, provided you do more than just state what should/could be done. However, you would have to actually APPLY and DO what you are 'prescribing', so a 20 page PPT and/or complaining won't accomplish anything here. Executive Leadership is approachable and listens to employees. Immediate Managers are extremely supportive and listen as well. Very flexible in WFH (just get your work done). Excellent benefits. Great energy from every employee in virtually every team/group.

      Cons

      The Start Up spirit can conflict with what is best practice for a company of this size (related to compliance and risk related measure and mechanics). Planning & strategic approaches are a little lacking when it come to operational changes (and even new processes) - there are times when scalability isn't considered or thought of (probably due to immediate reactionary application of certain measures). Be prepared for 'hand holding' - it can sometimes be the only way you can do your job frankly. And, this isn't necessary a con (i.e. you will leave your mark!) - but, if you are of the mentality that coaching/guiding someone outside your team is not your responsibility (where you are irked and annoyed - and it shows), this may not be the place for you to work at.
