Pros

Supportive Clinical Director and Regional Director, comprehensive training and procedures that protect clients, employees and employers, encourage and supportive and expects you to encourage and support Behavior specialist, cares about well being of employees. Benefits are covered 100% by company (I do not pay any money out of my paycheck for Medical benefits). They insist on using the most updated scientific proven methods for clients. They insist on HIGH ethics in regards to protecting clients privacy ( I have not always seen so many procedures and policies that protect clients at any other company in the past). They listen to employees and consider every level of employee when considering changes.

Cons

I did not come to work for this company any sooner.

Pros

-great starting pay rate $18-22/hr and reimbursement for driving -people here actually care about the clients and employees -friendly and diverse environment -their training was lacking but has improved a lot now -they're constantly trying to make the company better for their employees -you don't need to see your supervisors every day unless you request to see them -seeing progress with your clients and the freedom to run session however you want

Cons

-"on-call" scheduling/hours -no car= no work; a lot of driving and driving during traffic hour sucks -they put clients before employees -each supervisor work, communicate, and expect differently, so working under different supervisors can be annoying -if you don't get along with your supervisor, then work can suck. (cliquey supervisors) -your role is to give, be passive, and deal with clients' aggression. there are clients who will leave marks/scratches on you, and others will yell and say mean things. these things may happen repeatedly and can be very draining over time

Pros

The pay is good. Especially for the Sacramento area. The job is what you'd expect ABA therapy.

Cons

All the Program supervisors are unprofessional. They don't ever care about your needs just the clients. They talk about employees in the office around other employees. They show favoritism and will write you up for things that they themselves do. Not a horrible place to work good pay just go home and drink a beer and talk about how poorly this company is managed.
