      RN Case Manager

      Pros

      You have the freedom to create and follow your own schedule for the most part. Compensation and benefits, in my opinion, is in line with other companies, if not better. This is a very fulfilling position. It is a wonderful gift and an honor to be able to help a person transition comfortably and peacefully unto death.

      Cons

      This is supposed to be an 8am to 5pm position. However, you are required to prepare forms and write recertifications which usually must be done after hours. Your patient load is so heavy that you can't get all your work done in a normal work day. You often are asked/told to cover on-call hours.

      Office staff is great hardworking group

      Cons

      Admin staff not treated fairly. They do as much work, if not more than MCPs/DCMs and yet don't get raises let alone the nice tidy bonuses they are given. And truthfully, it's the admin staff that has their back

      Pros

      Great company, good benefits, interdisciplinary team works well together to provide great care for families under our care. RN case managers are paid hourly which is do important when you have those busy weeks you go over 40 hrs. Very little on call with dedicated on-call staff.

      Cons

      Very little cons at this point, paper charting is immense!
