Collegial, connected to a new medical school, good salary/benefits, pension, and quality affiliate hospitals.

Cons

The clinical medical faculty (doctors of medicine) don't have the same educational benefits as the basic science faculty and other employees.

Very flexible with student schedules and understanding a school and life balance. Most jobs do not have you work nights or weekends.

Cons

No room for advancement or self fulfillment with your position. You being a student and everyone else being parents for the most part, you will always be looked down upon as a kid even though you have a higher education than most the people you work with.
