The departments are small, and also there is a 1 to 1 relationship with the advisors (small research groups)

Cons

It's not one of the big league university...and sometimes the name counts :)

Very fair, friendly university to work for.

The pay is very reasonable. The benefits are great! The hours are flexible and accomodating depending on the department you work in.

Cons

You will most likely have to join a union so be prepared for that. I have had no difficulty with mine and they have been fair with the university.
