Pros

Compensation is not bad. Certain forms of freedom and perks that go along with the job. Trying hard to think of more...

Cons

Severe micromanaging. Inability to appreciate staff and abilities/performance. Extremely stressful environment. LOTS of politics. One must play nice with the key people regardless of incompetence. Lots of nepotism here. Relatives and spouses all throughout the company that hold positions based on their relationship not their abilities or qualifications. These same people have tenure. Good luck. Opportunities are available if you want to work more for no additional pay.
