A product you can believe in

Pros

The product solution is something you can really get behind and you can see how it changes people’s work environment and careers for the better. I loved the fact that we used it internally and could see first hand how it impacts teams. The work was challenging and we accomplished a lot of amazing things while I was there. My immediate team was top notch and I have some wonderful memories and resume-worthy accomplishments to show for it.

Cons

There was one really bad player that was tolerated and even encouraged only because they brought in revenue. In any other company they would have been marched out the door. The work culture was sometimes chaotic with a whomever gets it done first wins attitude.

Promising Co. but some flaws

Pros

Its a promising company with some growing pains. The software works really well in some ways but is a nightmare to manage. Some of the coworkers are very dedicated and helpful while others aren't.

Cons

A lot of corporate speak and meandering around the real issues sometimes. Plenty of product and engineering work is needed.

Great culture, great people, great company to work for

Pros

GamEffective has the three elements that make a company awesome to work with. A great team - literally everyone in the company is super smart and supper supportive. There's no egos - everyone works together as a team to actually get things done. There's a great culture and a great atmosphere in the offices in both Israel and NY. A great work environment - no nitpicking and penny pinching. Good compensation, great benefits, strong investment in helping employees grow and build skills, tons of opportunities to grow and basically everything you need to succeed. A great product - The company's solutions are basically all about helping other companies' employees enjoy their work more and be more engaged and effective. We're doing a darn good job at it too and I guess that starts with what we have at home. In short - I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a fast paced startup, believes they can make an impact and thinks work is more than just a place you go to in the morning.

Cons

Very few. The company has offices in both Israel and the US as well as clients all over the world, which can make for some odd working hours sometime (at least in some roles). On the flip side, they are extremely flexible, and so long as you get things done, no one is looking over your shoulder to see if you've actually put in your time.
