      Pros

      Most of the floorplans are above average. Once they finally get a home built, and ALL defects are fixed, the homes are good. Many good, hard working people in the field and in the sales offices.

      Cons

      Management is 110% focused on getting new sales and getting houses closed by the end of the month, end of the quarter, etc. No focus on the employees or even worse, the customers. Both are unhappy most of the time. The company is growing rapidly but there are no expenditures or focus on improved systems, training or customer service. Century gives a bad name to the new home industry.

      Pros

      The other low level employees were wonderful people doing their best despite horrible management.

      Cons

      If you aren't considered management don't expect to go anywhere with this job. Management blocks any growth opportunities out there while continually making promises about raises that will never come through. There is no regard for work life balance either. I was told repeatedly if I wanted to advance in my career I would need to make a decision... work or family.
