Sunnyvale: Era of Hyper-growth with Consequences
Pros
The product platform is good. There’s definitely career stability/growth with the increased demand in the next coming year or two. There are some loyal, dedicated, and hard-working individuals who help drive the deliverables.
Cons
Attrition rate is triple the annual metric, quality issues (non-stop nonconformance’s and product failures) are apparent across the entire site, associates are overworked with 10-12 hours being a norm every single day, no work/life balance, and delivery is priority over anything. Leaders sit high in their pedal-stool and demand numbers/change but never go to the actual Gemba to see the real issues. Culture change is talked about but there are no real changes in the organization. And, did I mention people across the site are leaving left and right?
