      Pros

      The co-workers are generally good and helpful.

      Cons

      Silos!, very poor IT resources/structure, PTO is quite poor, bonuses aren't great. Peers still refer to this company as a start-up even though it is well past that. Issue is the lack of investment in infrastructure to grow the company. Many times different departments are on different software. Data integrity is very poor.

      Pros

      Competitive salary and above average commission. Amazing colleges in field sales. Tenured staff who are extremely knowledgeable, eager to help and generally want Cepheid to be a great place to work. Customers come first.

      Cons

      Just like any large company there can be a disconnect from top management to the field.
