Upper management, corporate policies, unreasonable expectations, lacking ethics and integrity.
Just changed the PTO policy to give employees less days off in addition to wanting you to work overtime if you take PTO. I recently attempted to take a day off and was told, “I’ll give you 6 hours PTO but I want you to work two hours overtime to make up for it.” Not sure what you call that but I don’t think that’s how PTO is supposed to work.
Also changed the commission policy a few months ago to pay you half as much for certain items. These changes seem to always take money out of my pocket and into theirs. Funny how that works.
Expect you to give them 1.5 hours a day in drive time and lunch time but you only get paid for 8 hrs.
Took on multiple additional responsibilities and gained four additional certifications after the acquisition trying to be a team player, but 18 months later no increase in compensation due to the fact I didn’t level up. The level up program is how they give raises but they don’t tell you what you have to do in order to achieve that. It is strictly at their discretion.
Any 5 star reviews you see out of Indiana is the corporate office attempting to improve their ratings. They have a terrible time getting and keeping techs and employees in general. Hmmm, I wonder why?
Upper management and sales do absolutely dishonest things in order to hit their monthly numbers. Upsetting and losing customers in the process.
They offer bonuses and commission (if you have the work to do!) but you can’t count of that every year. You can’t plan a family budget on fluctuating bonuses and commissions. Employees need steady annual raises that they can count on year after year.
The CEO likes to say that Certasite isn’t a fit for everyone and oh boy is he right! I will take my training, experience and skills somewhere else making WAY more money for less responsibility! Good luck to anyone currently working here or thinking about working here. You will need every ounce of luck available to make something of this company.
