Pros

Good people, lot of smart and determined talent

Cons

This is a company that is working to fill shareholder pockets, even though they think they're creating products for customers. Company goals are so unrealistic they have never been met in my entire tenure, although the company always makes record profits year over year. If you are an employee that is lucky enough to get a bonus, you will feel like you are fighting an uphill battle from day 1. Employees are constantly burnt out, though leadership refuses to see it and find ways to manipulate their employee surveys to say employees are "so happy". Leadership does not celebrate wins. Very leadership heavy organization with too many VPs, directors and c suite that micro manages at the CEO level. ELT is COMPLETELY out of touch with employees. Promotions and hiring were frozen to make bottom line more profitable. After just recruiting and hiring heavily on remote/work from home policy for the past year, they pulled the rug out from all work from home employees and are making them come back to the office/travel once a month to office. Obvious that such a move is a way to reduce headcount without mass layoff headlines.

Pros

NONE this place was a hell hole

Cons

I am a woman who was paid SIGNIFICANTLY less, constantly treated as an inferior, and regularly felt uncomfortable with my managers. The toxic masculinity extended to my superiors making fun of their wives together, regularly excluding females from conversations, and more.

Pros

New building is nice and conveniently located near the expressways. Workout room, walking path, green pond with algae, overpriced cafeteria, Work-life balance, open office concept, full glass exterior windows to let plenty of light in, and smart people. Co-workers were great!

Cons

Environment is very political. If you disagree with the political dictators and their pawns, you will be targeted as a trouble maker. Management protects their favorites and does nothing when they even know they are horrible to others. Other departments also see the political issues and the egotistic managers, but yet no one does anything to address the issue. People are too afraid to stand for whats right in fear of retaliation. It was difficult to move up in the company. They were very good at hiring from the outside and didn't focus on building the people within. The software area is held back by the company processes. Pace is very slow. Time tracking process is overly micromanaged, incompetent managers. Try another department or another company unless your into getting minimized in your position or love the politics.
