Pros

The company has made investments across the board. They are invested in improving employee culture. The building is beautiful to work in. The company offers summer hours. Its goals are lofty, but the right management is in place to make it happen. The CEO, JoAnna, is ADORED at this company. She is known to everyone, she is connected to ALL employees. Interactions with her are like minor brushes with celebrity. I have never worked in a place where I have been able to have female leadership up the line, and they are also great examples of how to be assertive business women. I have exemplary role models that I can identify with for once in my career. I'm glad to have finally found that.

Cons

Everyone wishes pay was better. Typical office politics of "who you know" rather than "what you do" can be a little disheartening.

Pros

I felt that the people were easy to work with (although not everyone felt that way). I had 3 great bosses, but there was always criticism about upper management.

Cons

It was difficult to move up in the company. They were very good at hiring from the outside and didn't focus on building the people within.

Pros

Good people at the middle levels, some small groups that enjoy solving problems and working together. Sales knows their customers and are passionate about keeping them happy, as such the company is customer/ sales driven.

Cons

Comments about former CEO being a bully seemed to be accurate as it was a regular source of chatter amongst many levels in the company. Finance provided limited strategic direction and seemed to be taking their lead from the CEO with some department leads being abusive and unresponsive. Engineering is overworked and stretched to their limits resulting in project delays. Talented employees are overworked and under appreciated. HR did nothing to stop these abusive practices and seemed to stay holed up in their offices hoping it would all just go away. Rather than advocating for employees they watched as good employees were railroaded and or just left out of frustration.
