Pros

Great Pay, Professional, Benefits, Growing Company

Cons

They promise promotion but are extremely slow in putting it into motion. Would be better off putting in my two weeks and reapplying to another branch for the position. They are extremely selective when allocating tuition reimbursements. I received the highest raise in my branch with an "exceeding" in every category of the review and am a 4.0 GPA student and still was not selected to receive the reimbursement.

Pros

J P Morgan Chase is clearly a leader in the industry. It uses its strength to batter competitors and develop new platforms which its competitors must compete with or fail. Branch operations are the most secure jobs in the company. You better love sales or you will not succeed in this organization.

Cons

If you look to advance your career beyond the regional level, be prepared to move to OH, NY or RI. Salaries for these areas are fair but if you come from high cost areas on the West Coast, you will be disappointed. Advanced degrees are very helpful, but the school's name is more important.
