Pros

If you drink the Koolaid, it would be a great place to work.

Cons

The hypocrisy of this place just doesn't end. There are elaborate discussions about company values, yet the people in leadership positions don't actually practice any of those values. If clients actually knew what was going on, they would hire someone else.

Pros

Challenging work environment. Excellent service offering to its clients. Great reputation in the market. Hires smart people with a great work ethic.

Cons

Management employs a "favorites" approach to recognizing employees and providing opportunties. There are people within the organization that get away for actions that go against the company's core values and management does nothing to address these issues when brought to their attention. Chatham is a company that has and can continue to have great success but this will be dependent upon how management handles the current phase they are in. They will lose very talented people if they are not careful.

Pros

Nothing positive to say about this company

Cons

The leadership at Chatham is surprisingly ineffective, with a complete absence of supervisory skills. Additionally, they seem to lack significant knowledge in derivatives and hedging regulation, despite confidently asserting their expertise in these areas. In a blatant display of delusion, they fancy themselves in the league of the prestigious Big 4, but the reality is far from it. The organization falls embarrassingly short on knowledge and expertise, and to add insult to injury, career progression within the company is virtually nonexistent. The promised bonuses are a joke… The turnover rate at Chatham is alarmingly high, with dismissals seemingly based on personal whims rather than professional merits. Climbing the corporate ladder here hinges more on mastering the art of office politics than on actual job performance — a disheartening revelation for those who believe in meritocracy. If you're seeking a workplace that values competence and genuine achievement, Chatham may not be the place for you.
