Pros

Flexible hours and the managers/ heads of department are easy to talk to. Get some experience talking to employees from all over the country on the phone.

Cons

As a part-time intern, it was highly preferred that I come in at least 4 days a week to do small tasks. With the long (costly) commute, small pay, and short number of hours I would work per day, it was not worth it to come in that often. Lots of time spent at the printer making copies.

Pros

Great environment to learn and develop. The lower and mid level management make an effort to provide good feedback, and not good as well. You get the chance to work with the worlds largest companies and make a difference. Managers try to enforce a work-life balance.

Cons

Starting salary is not high - hard to get past the first 18-24 months until a decent raise is given. No benefits such as a car leasing deal. The work load in the support organisation is enormous. Very tough and demanding job and you are given a lot of responsibly practically from day 1.
