their team is pretty good. The engineering team knows what they're doing.

Check Point was a great place to work for mainly because the people you work with. It's unique how well everyone gets along. Also, stability. They will not fire you ever over small things. Also, the ability to grow. If you do well here, they recognize it and you can move around fairly easily.
Cons
Pay, just know they do not pay market price for anyone. Work life balance isn't great. They tend to overload you a bit but it's expected of everyone in the company. Benefits used to be leading but they have slowly removed more and more.
