Limited career advancement opportunity if you are unable to relocate Limited marketing presence (although this has gotten much better in recent years) No home office expenses allowed (including internet, office supplies) Salaries are lower than competition unless you prove yourself - then they make it right Many decisions are made by main office in Israel - sometimes these decisions don't fit well with the US market. High sales team turnover (usually because the people hired were just not capable of doing the job)

Great people, nice culture and local team that act as extended family. Cutting edge technology, very good place for curious technology minds that want to learn and explore new technologies all the time. Very technological company, people including TAC, RnD are approachable and willing to help if needed. Trips to Israel and meeting colleagues in HQ is great experience.

Cons

There will be always pros and cons for every company and Check Point is no exception. Even though I faced challenges like support escalations, I would chose to work for Check Point again. In the end of the day, you will learn the most once things stop to work.

Check Point technology, stability are one of the best. But more important company's values. Environment is very nice. Excellent support from HR in every single aspect.

Cons

Upper management could share their vision about the company's future since it is trying to develop new products in new areas. Compensation is not the best. Other companies pay top dollar.
