Pros

Great company for a first job. Experience with new and old technologies (based on the team you are assigned to). If you are dedicated than you can stay in the company for a long time.

Cons

The salary is very low compared to other companies. Worker health-care isn't very good. You'll have to work with outdated PCs which will delay your job considerably (even as a new employee).

Pros

The attractiveness of Checkpoint is it's employees. It is a great atmosphere where people generally want to help each other in the company and in its community. There is a great family feeling where you can disagree but you end up working things out because that is best for the company. There is a strong bond that is unique.

Cons

With the recent changing of the management teams, there is a question whether the company still values the culture that was Checkpoint.

Pros

Was a global collective of small to mid sized, independent companies each with great Products, People, Services and loyal customers. These distinct but similar lines of businesses were merged into a single organization with excellent benefits.

Cons

The centralized, global management team attempted to reduce operating costs by consolidation and standardization of of processes and systems across subsidiaries without fully understanding the magic and spark that made each line of business fun and profitable. The true visionaries quit in frustration. The remaining employees just accepted the new dullness, and hoped to avoid the next round of cuts.

Amazing people - strong support of innovation - global industry leader - great products and solutions - top notch service - open environment - entire executive team is willing to jump in and support you - their doors are always open - if you like a fast paced challenge where everyday is an Olympic event this is the place for you
