Pros

Free coffee and tea all day every day, gym on site, cafeteria next door. ChemTreat likes to eat and there is always food around - even appreciative sales people send food to HQ! Women's forum specifically to develop women and help them achieve personal and career aspirations.

Cons

Lean company. This is a pro or a con depending on where you are in your career. If you want to coast, not a good company to work for.

Pros

I'm a full time employee and have been with ChemTreat for 2.5 years. I am still fairly early in my career and have found this company to hold a wealth of opportunity for me to grow, be challenged and expand my skill sets in my profession. In addition I get to wake up to go to work at a place I genuinely enjoy both in the work I do and the people I work with. ChemTreat has a fantastic work culture and is full of hard working genuine people. In addition, as an operating company of Danaher Corporation we have an even broader field of opportunity outside just our company for growth and development. Having worked for another top employer in the Richmond area previously where the culture was to feel like just a number in a sea of many, I would say at ChemTreat you are recognized as an individual both in your profession and in the relationships you develop. In addition, we have a flat and transparent leadership structure. The door is always open to our senior leaders, having that kind of accessibility is rare and valuable.

Cons

ChemTreat as part of Danaher is a lean organization, sometimes that can create challenges when everyone is at full capacity with their work loads and there is still more to do. We do have 2 locations in the Richmond area and each location does have a slightly different culture, it would be great if we could eventually move to all being in one location for the base HQ.
