- The people I worked with both peers and management were some of the nicest and most knowledgeable people I've ever worked with. - They genuinely care about the employees.

Cons

- Onboarding process is non-existent. - Dealing with the federal government can be difficult

Pros

They like to hire veterans. They have jobs all over the country.

Cons

They re-organized the payroll so that we were shorted a week's pay just before Christmas. (So much for Christmas this year....) I think that says it all. Oh, and they made record profit this year according to the annual report.

The company has a small company feel (methods, teams, etc) but has the benefits of a large company (HR, Benefits, etc.) Many of the folks on the team are hard working and dedicated to the projects and missions; they make the work not only enjoyable but worthwhile. The mission of Cherokee Nation Businesses is much more altruistic than other corporate contracting organizations - meaning the profits made are actually being put to good use and not just buying more boats for executives.
