Pros

Weekly Pay, Free Healthcare, at least 40 hrs and more if you want.. work 4/ 10 hr days. 3 days off.

Cons

This place is a joke. Hiring just anyone that shows up. Too many young kids just looking to date and socialize and not work. I m so disappointed in this job cause I was really excited when I first started. It's like working in the HOOD. Makes me wonder about what they actually look for while running background checks..

Pros

Full medical benefits the pay is ok customers are nice

Cons

Everything else. They treat their customers pretty good even the ones who are abusing the customer representatives. The management has watched way too many episodes of Orange Is the New because they treat their employees like work duty prisoners. The newest petition to the company is encouraging employees to go to the life coach and mental health workers for work-related stress period but what they will tell you is that these people are not bound by the national laws of confidentiality set by The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Means anything you tell them they turn around and tell management. Management constantly changes how things are done and deletes procedures without telling the employees and then treat you as if you're crazy and you ask what happened to them. More than once I haven't told that it's been that way for months when in fact it was there 2 weeks ago. Definitely believe the other reviews about chewy because they are absolutely true. The only reason to try to get a job at chewy it's for the medical benefits and to toughen up for corporate life. The reviews saying how great a job it is is Jess management and those who want to climb the corporate chewy ladder to get out of the toxic pit. When you are not on the phone talking to customers chewy is the absolute loneliest and most depressing place to work. Employees are constantly belittled and talked down to. I would not be surprised if chewy had secret cameras in the hallways watching and listening to conversations. People constantly are moved around the entire office for no good reason. Some people that you saw the day before are gone suddenly and leads & supervisors act like they were never there. The only time you will ever see upper management is in YouTube videos. Lately customer service representatives are either lying to customers making promise they cannot keep or they are poorly trained. They give their employees with free alcohol and food and pretend it's the most fun place to ever work - its not. If you want to gain titles you can do so at chewy if you are willing to be part of the brain washed Chewtopians.
