Pros

Lots of clients to work with, good values, support from supervisor, they offer some trainings, they make you feel appreciated.

Cons

Have to use your own vehicle to go to client's homes and they do not pay mileage. Can be stressful at times. Pay could be a little better considering you have to use own vehicle and do not get paid mileage.

Pros

Having the ability to make a difference in someones life with a disability. Showing them how to function in the community in which they lived, and helping them to be independent while living on their own.

Cons

Not being valued enough while doing your job and doing it well. When people with disabilities are a ward of the State or their family members can't handle the responsibility or want the responsibility to care for them they are place in an environment with people to help provide for them. At times these individuals make accusations that cause people to lose their jobs. Because these individuals are believed before the employee.
