Pros

Free Lunch, Paid lunch break, day is over quickly.

Cons

LOW pay for HARD work, Treated like a robot, cruel expectations with no reward. Horrible health benefits, managers try to keep their humanity, but lose it along the way as required by the company. NO TRAINING whatsoever, Expected to learn how to perform duties without any guidance. I had to leave because of a work injury, I have never hurt myself at work ever in my life. I refuse to work for a company that preaches equality&doing what's right when they treat their employees terribly. I was all for the company's motto, but behind closed doors, they are the opposite towards their hardworking employees.

Pros

Good high energy crew members. Development journals to give crew members the road map.

Cons

Grill 1 and 2 should be paid a higher wage than crew positions considering that the work is a lot more difficult and physical and demanding. Once you get really good at a crew position, you will not be moved to another position. The ability of rising within the ranks seems fictional, more like favoritism. Everyone speaks spanish all day even though this is an American corporation, makes the non spanish speaking crew members feel alienated. Not enough hours given to crew members. People are sent home if its slow, even if they were scheduled to work longer hours. No access to management above the GM of the store.

Pros

Quality food, pleasant atmosphere. Owner and CEO are great guys......

Cons

Great ownership and leadership at top doesn't trickle down very far anymore. Misogynistic area leaders (definitely in my area, heard from others it exists elsewhere) prevent promotion of talented female leaders and focus attention on male leaders who have failed multiple times to achieve promotion. Rules tend to be different depending on who you are friends with....almost a high school clique environment. Chipotle broke my professional heart.
