The patients. Autonomy of work.

Cons

Much less than adequate orientation. The two offices I worked out of are very, very disorganized. No continuity of care for the patients, different nurses to see them all the time. Emails/texts/phone calls to other staff for support in charting OASIS etc. are seldom addressed. Document every phone call/text and keep screen shots - this company likes to pass the buck of problems on to the nurses not ever taking reponsibility for what they should be/need to.

We appreciate the feedback. We have been focused on flexibility and are glad you felt the compensation was good. Workload is a constant challenge in home health. Even in review of your comments you can see that it fluctuates considerably. We are working on telehealth and other initiatives to help when it is heavier. Typically over the course of a year the fluctuations balance out. Our goal is to provide a friendly environment and I believe that we all work so hard that friendliness to fellow employees is a must!!! I will use your review to emphasize this at our next admin meetings.
