Pros

Consistent work, overtime available every day for managers, mgr meals are free, not everyday is the same. You can learn a lot with this company. They only promote from within.

Cons

Gms and Dms expect superior level of guest satisfaction, store cleanliness, and great labor numbers. The one time you cut a corner (leave out some detail cleaning) to save labor, you are scolded for not having an eye for detail. You cant have all 3 of those things they want every shift. Something has to give......also raises are not enough to put up with these demands.

Pros

These pros are for the Technical Manager position only. Great hours, off on weekends, great atmosphere if you enjoy working around people and kids.

Cons

High turnover rate due to non-competitive salaries. Noisy atmosphere. Very slow to keep up with new technology. Unrealistic expectations for managers to reach goals.

Pay is solid but work is too broad!

Pros

Pay can be decent if you can hit your bonuses. Being able to interact with a guest and make their kids smile. No charge for meals when working and 50% off when not. Fast paced environment.

Cons

Labor controls are INSANE! Losing sight on what made the company what it was. Price for parts for some games WILL KILL YOUR BUDGET AND BONUS! Too much focus on the wrong things and not enough praise when things are going well - You can always run it a little tighter. Too many flavors of the month (IE. Labor, guest surveys, cornerstones, suggestive sales) Once you've become a Gm the ability to move up is very limited unless you don't mind moving states. Operations will be blamed for failures of other departments (IE. AP, Marketing, etc)
