Pros

I felt very confortable in all stages of the recruitment process, I would say that overall it was great! Been here just for a couple of weeks and people has been very welcoming. I can see that there's a culture of collaboration as my team has been with me every step of the way and that it's a great place to work for.

Cons

It can be hard to understand the business for a person that comes from a different industry not with a tech background.

Pros

Market leader in their technololgy. High investement in R&D. A lot of talented people work here. The top executive team has a very clear vision of the market and tech strategy.

Cons

Ciena has very complicated and cumbersome internal processes. It results in a very slow response time to customer demands and questions. A clear career path is quite difficult to define and even harder to accomplish.

Really happy to be part fo the team at Ciena, I like the offer since they sent me, great atmosfere to work, reaaly good coworkers, gerat facilities. Ciena provides all the equipment that you need to perform your work.

Cons

The hire proccess was really long.
