Pros

My co workers were great and I loved being able to connect with the customers on a personal level to a point where I knew what time they would stop in amd eveb their coffee.

Cons

I found doing the dips to check the gas levels to be incredibly diffucult especially in the winter under a couple feel of snow amd having it be expected to be a one man job.

Pros

The work shifts were long (8 hours) and provided sufficient hours instead of half-shifts like other retail organizations out there.

Cons

There are no breaks, it is expected to come in to shifts on your days off if another co-worker calls in sick.

Pros

The customers can be fantastic and become regulars, which transitions into a micro family. Payday is every Thursday, via EFT. Staff discount is good, includes fuel

Cons

Exceptionally high turn-over. Lots of drama, Managers treat employees like children. It's reminiscent of being in grade school. Just when you think you've got guaranteed shifts, you end up working backshift. If you can't be available to fill in for a shift, your hours are cut as punishment
