Pros

Getting to know customers if store is in a small community. I was a Kangaroo Express employee until a buy out by circle K. Working for Kangaroo Express was awesome. But then the buy out and it became unbearable.

Cons

Expected to have complete open availability is not realistic. Use to have to work and switch between all 3 shifts in one

Great company Great benefits Good job for self driven individuals

Cons

No communication from management about sales, promotions, or new hires. Managers only have job knowledge. Manager avoids conflict and confrontation with employees by ignoring them. No solutions when problems occur, no reprimand for employees who constantly call out, are late, ignore customers, talk on their phones, or employees who don't complete shift tasks before leaving.
