      Pros

      There are internal classes that you can take for your interests. There is rich information available in the intranet for research.

      Cons

      It's a big company mentality. Turn around time of project development is slow because there is a lot of overhead and time wasted. However, engineers were very busy at work and needed to be putting in extra hours.

      Pros

      The management at Cisco is very supportive of personal and professional growth. A Cisco employee will find himself or herself in a comfortable environment that fosters collaboration among teammates to produce outstanding results.

      Cons

      The company is very large, so a junior level role would be extremely limited in scope. Cafeterias are more expensive than they might be at other companies. It takes a long time to be promoted internally.
