Dear Colleague: Thank you for taking the time to post some of your thoughts and concerns. I want to assure you that management is working very hard to hire additional resources so that they can focus on achieving a sustainable work-life balance for the office. I also wanted to clarify that senior management have a practice in place to ensure promotions are based on merit and not favoritism. There is a calibration process to ensure that each promotion is thoroughly discussed and vetted across the management team in order to assure a qualified person is selected. It’s in the best interest of the firm to ensure we promote staff who are best able to work collaboratively and provide outstanding service to our clients.

Dear Colleague - thank you for your 4 star rating. I'm going to assume that is based on more than free food and drink :) A lot of young grads come to Citco because it is an excellent training ground for professionals interested in financial services and the hedge fund industry. Fund Accountants who pick up the complex accounting and work hard, also have a clear career path to management positions which ultimately bring higher rewards. Hope you will be one of those ambitious accountants who continue to grow and learn at Citco.
