Dear Former Colleague - appreciate you taking the time to provide some feedback both positive and constructive. Indeed every job has its tedious aspects - thank goodness most of the work at Citco is interesting, diverse and challenging. In regards to career plans - there are some pretty distinct career paths in our functions. However I would also note that our performance management process includes a career development section which we always encourage staff to complete with their manager. If you want to develop at Citco and are ambitious - you can join the hundreds of employees who have been promoted over the years and have grown by showing your managers that you are committed and are willing to do the work to develop your skills and supervisory capabilities. Anyone can make an appointment with their manager to start such a discussion.

Our Vilnius team are our young and ambitious so it's super to see that you see the many possibilities for professional growth and development. Unfortunately the nature of our work does limit the possibilities for remote working but with regard to your feedback on overtime, I'm pleased to inform you that recently a new overtime policy was introduced which provides compensation for all overtime worked. Pros

Learn the complex hedge fund industries with its ultra complex customized accounting creativities. You meet many kind of people from various cultures background. If you have the boss' preference then everything will be arranged nicely with all cost paid.

Cons

Once you voice your own mind and right other than common standard set by the company then you are out of the league. The system is customized only for the company, makes you difficult to move on. If you are sick, the company's doctor will not be on your side. Cheap, cheaper and cheapest, they do everything to reach it without considering loyality and experience.

Dear Former Colleague - I'm always sorry to hear feedback like this without being able to sit with an employee and dig deeper. I do know from many years of working experience that staff often think they are voicing their opinion constructively and then wonder why they didn't get a great reception. It usually has to do with delivery and whether the feedback is really useful and with realistic suggestions that help the organization to understand gaps and how they might mitigate them. Without sufficient details I can only remind employees that no business has unlimited funds - we realize our staff may not always understand or agree with business decisions. Citco is a very diverse organization and our core values would certainly include respect and opportunity for all.
