Pros

Not a cliche; much intellectual capital. Global reach; connecting with colleagues in other locations. Uncanny ability to weather every crisis.

Cons

Managers have perfected the science of "managing up"; good people/successful people are thrown under the bus by management if it helps a manager's career.

Not a great place to work

Pros

The company has great brand recognition globally, and that counts for a lot if you want to go internationally, but not so great within the States.

Cons

The culture is not very unified, and senior management doesn't really care what you think. Pay is not the greatest.
