Pros

You meet some great people.

Cons

Very difficult to get a promotion out of the retail side of the company. Bank prefers to hire from outside than train/promote to new position. Unrealistic sales metrics and goals, increasing level of micromanagement, and middle management that is far removed from the experience of branch employees. Citizens is not doing a good job adjusting to the new realities of retail banking. Foot traffic is slowing and their old models for generating business are not working as well anymore, this difference is being pushed on branch level employees without a clear direction from corporate.

Pros

Great benefits, consistent paycheck, initially good training.

Cons

Poor management in branches with constant changing of colleagues made the situation very stressful. Inconsistent supervision with inexperienced managers.
