      Upper management can not even spell, let alone make good decisions for a large financial institution.

      -Bank has some great concepts and innovative products for customers.

      Cons

      -No decisions made locally. -Not enough focus on company credo. -Upper Management does not follow direction from corporate. -Upper Management micro manages and lies to staff. -Company does not invest in their facilities, technology or training. -Policies and procedures prohibit doing business.

      Good people, good start in career field.

      Cons

      Pay was below market value. Staffing issues were rampant. Never enough staff to have a lunch break. Commission is hard to obtain.

      Pros

      Being in an in store Giant Eagle branch offers many opportunities to find leads. Many walk ups daily to open new accounts, inquire on mortgages, loans, etc. Great opportunities for sales.

      Cons

      Poor compesation for sales. Constant push and pressure from management to find sales. Feeding frenzy when walk up sales occur. Very unprofessional setting. This may be because my branch manager is retiring very soon and has just checked out.. I dont care I am not waiting around to find out. 5 months was enough... trust me. This job is humiliating and boring. Split time between teller and banker.
