Pros

Benefits are great, 3 weeks paid vacation, around 9 paid holidays per year. Can't beat banking hours. Very generous with mileage pay for training.

Cons

The branches are always running on a skeleton crew. This is because the company is hemorrhaging employees at every turn. From upper management all the way down to personal bankers, they are losing colleagues left and right because they don't treat them right. They do not promote from within and when they do, they pay peanuts for hard work. It's easy to make big bucks coming from another company, though. Very disappointing.

Pros

Moved through the ranks quickly, met some terrific people

Cons

Even for a retail bank the goals are terrible. They inspire bad selling practices. Managers are required to micro manage every word out of employee's mouths. Turnover is insane. They cut positions and expect branches to run with nobody.
