Pros

Casual environment, fantastic co-workers, and 3 weeks of PTO right away. Management cares as long as your meeting your sales goals.

Cons

I was looking forward to grow with Citizens and when I was hired as a part time employee, I was told after 6 months, I could have the opportunity to switch departments. I wasn't planning to move into a full time position for awhile, but life happens and I need to move into a full time position. Just when I was about to talk to my manager about my goals, the announcement was made to everyone that you could not switch departments or from part time to full time for 12 months after hire. Extremely disappointed that I have to look outside the company for a full time job with benefits, I could have seen myself retiring there. Everything is sales oriented and it's all about the numbers.

Pros

I learned a lot while working here but it was from self learning and a seasoned employee. The pay wasn't bad for the area and if they understood that customers come first, rather than money, then they would be a lot more successful.

Cons

Similar to many corporate companies, if you do what you're told and don't ask questions you get far. They offered me a 5% raise to become an assistant manager, I'd be making less than $16 an hour.

Pros

Good benefits and vacation time, decent initial and ongoing training, good investment commission split for licensed bankers, and good focus on the needs of the customer.

Cons

High turnover makes you feel expendable, and many positions are filled from outside the company. Poor everyday-banker incentive plan, with constantly fluctuating goals and "revenue" values per product. Terrible yearly and merit raises. Management could care less about retaining talent.
