Toxic management

Pros

Good pay good benefits Nice packages for puppies and kittens

Cons

The practice managers are allowed to behave however they want. Discuss write ups with other employees. Tell staff not to train but then tell the staff that need the training no one wants to train them. Make comments about your body to others. Close early consistently. They join the little gossip and choose one person to single out. Its disgusting.

We take concerns about workplace culture and leadership seriously, and the behaviors described here are not reflective of the respectful and supportive environment we strive to create across our clinics. Feedback like this is important as we continue working to support our teams and strengthen the experience for everyone. If you’re open to sharing more, we would welcome the opportunity to connect. Cons

-The company doesn’t care about their employees - Basically low raises, IF you get one -Low pay -Will work you like a horse with the low pay expecting you to do 4 different job titles but pay you for 1.

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We’re truly sorry that your experience left you feeling undervalued — that’s never what we want for our team members. Your comments around workload, recognition, compensation, and burnout reflect very real challenges in the veterinary field, and we take them seriously. We are continually reviewing our staffing models, pay practices, and ways we show appreciation to better support our teams. If you’re open to it, we’d welcome the opportunity to learn more and continue the conversation at hrsupport@cityvet.com. We sincerely appreciate the care and effort you gave to our patients and clients during your time with us.
