Awesome support from our home office, good training program, love that each clinic still gets to have autonomy in decisions but we have the backing of the organization. Great leadership.

Cons

I haven't found any so far in my almost year with being with CityVet.

Pros

Flexible scheduling, supportive management and corporate office, opportunity for growth and promotions, generous benefits programs, fun environment and every day is different, discounted veterinary care for personal pets

Cons

No paid holidays for field staff unless you work on days when the clinic is scheduled to be closed (these hours are often limited and first-come first served, so not guaranteed). All clinics across the nation are managed by one corporate office in Dallas, TX so sometimes corporate is spread thin for in-clinic help with maintenance, IT, etc.

Truly a dream job with a dream team! Awesome opportunities for career growth along with autonomy to practice medicine in my own way! Love that the company is veterinarian-led!

Cons

The company has grown rapidly so there have understandably been growing pains but the home office is great about responding accordingly and quickly to help
