Pros

Pay is great, dogs always in the office, gym, ways to get involved, birthday lunch was fun

Cons

No HR department, my manager always made me feel like I was wasting their time when I went to them with concerns and issues, which lead to lack of communication, felt like a servant with some of the tasks I was asked to do, analysts/assistant buyers/purchasing assistants all do the same thing, constant worry of being 'dehired', no chance of advancement due to my DiSC profile (not a high D), was put under someone who had no experience and there were no meetings to assess their performance or talk about issues that should have been addressed. It took me leaving the company to realize how poorly analysts, assistant buyers, and purchasing assistants are all treated. I have heard the phrase 'good morning' more in the first week at my new job then I had heard at my ENTIRE year-and-a-half at Clark. When I first started, nobody made me feel welcome, and I witnessed many managers treat their assistants very poorly. Higher-ups insist that they do not micromanage but it's all they do (which is fine, just don't claim to not do it). I was told to not bother sending a 'thank you' email because it is a waste of time and space. Higher-ups pick 'favorites' and those are the ones who make it. Priorities would CONSTANTLY change and I would be left out of the loop, so I would be working on things that didn't need my attention. Can't begin to explain how many projects I had to update because my manager would ask for them by a certain date and then not look at it until weeks after that date.
