Pros

The overall atmosphere is great, everyone gets along really well and works with each others strengths and weaknesses. There is a lot of appreciation shown from the company to the employees and it is made clear that the company is willing to invest resources into personal growth and development.

Cons

The only downside I've seen is that there isn't a clear path of advancement though it is known that the opportunities exist.

Pros

You can dress casually. Benefits and PTO start after 60 probationary period.

Cons

My on boarding experience was horrible. I have never had an experience like this. A number of tasks were unloaded on me my first week there. I was never given an opportunity to master each task, instead I was pressured to complete them quickly. To say there was a lack of training was an understatement. I was simply emailed assignments to complete with little explanation on how to do them. I felt like my questions were unwelcome. My Manager didn't seem interested in helping me learn the business and understand the tasks I was completing. The turnover rate is high and I get the sense that employees are viewed as disposable. There is little privacy and everyone seems robotic--they sit at their desks from 8:00-4:30 p.m. with their headphones in their ears, typing away on their computer. I didn't feel like I was learning anything but was instead there to be an order taker. Instead of asking me how I was doing and what I needed help with, my Manager showed me larger projects that I would be completing later on and would tell me how "lucky" I was and how "nice" they were being by not giving assignments like that to do. Mind you, this was only my SECOND day. At one point, my personal desk was used as a sorting area for my Manager's paperwork. They never asked if this was okay, instead I was told that I should just expect that they would need to use my desk. This Manager was completely unprofessional, rude and disrespectful.

Pros

This is a great company to work for. As you can see, reviews vary on this company. From my experience, employees that work hard and show some promise and intellect will have a good experience here. Pay and benefits are very good for the area and the hours in the purchasing department can be somewhat flexible as long as you get the work done. There are on-site gyms for employees and employee socials almost every couple weeks. This is not a cushy job. You must be able to defend your decisions and have a backbone at times. If you are looking for a good paying job that is challenging and rewarding and you are willing to work hard, this is a great company to work for. If you're looking for warm and fuzzy workplace with little challenges, this is not the company for you

Cons

DId not experience any cons
