      Pros

      Clark Construction provides a family atmosphere where you feel like more than just a number in the organization on the West Coast. There is ample opportunity for you to make yourself stand out and take your career in the direction that you desire.

      Cons

      With construction, there is always the relocation to new projects that comes into play. At these times, it seems that the company waits until the last minute to notify employees of future assignments. This could lead to personal problems in employee's personal lives and ultimately cause a turnover problem in the company.

      Pros

      Although an arduous process, the end results remain tangible and impressive. Much good comes from the efforts of many.

      Cons

      Management does a poor job of actually managing its people. Those in the office do not have a good complrehension of what occurs in the field. Field personnel are often not on thier sites managing their jobs. If superintendents had to punch a time clock, they'd be broke!

      Pros

      Ability to work on high profile projects. The company treats employees with respect and is sensitive to personal issues. Clark gives employees a "long leash" and the ability to develop/use talents to benifit the company.

      Cons

      Long hours and stressful deadlines. These cons are more specifically associated with the construction industry in general. I'm most dissatisfied with their HR department. As long as you don’t have to deal with HR things are ok.
