Pros
Excellent atmosphere of management and coworkers. Very professional. Great culture. Good for a resume for when you give up on getting paid.
Cons
Cheap as hell. They expose you to hazmat every day and only care about the shareholders. The company has pulled 3-4 billion in revenue the last couple years but fight their workers every step of the way in regards to getting taken care of. If you're not a stakeholder, you're disposable. They pride themselves on promoting "STICS": Safety, Teamwork, Integrity, Customer Service, Shareholder Value". Those are their top priorities. None of them include their employees. Employees can be replaced in a second, but the shareholders... oh, they need to be taken care of instead of the ants exposed to the hazmat every day. They ask employees in their little surveys "Why is Clean Harbors the best place to work?" Unless we're paid enough to afford our own property along with bills and stop living paycheck-to-paycheck, it's simply not. We're just being exposed to hazmat every day and it's a few dollars more than McDonalds. Grow up start caring, please.
