Pros

Steady paycheck, but not much else.

Cons

Benefits are industry-worst, laughable 401K contribution, revolving door management, upper level management yes-men; or else.

Pros

Hard to find any really positive things to say about this company. I did notice that the CEO's approval rating has gone for the mid 30's to 50% in a very short period of time. I would am very curious if this is a geniune result of improvements to company's culture or just management pushing 5 starts - I think the later. Just look at all the talent acquisition positions giving 5 starts. Wonder if that is even legal for a public company.

Cons

This is a billion dollar public company, yet is it basically run by one person, the CEO. The culture here is very negative. I do have to say that some departments operate much better than others. The one I work in is horrible at communications and general positive business culture. This year the added back the company match to their 401k of $750 - big deal. Give the little people $750, while execs get rich. I would work here if you really, really need a job, but if you can look around and check out other company's with much better reputations, I would wait it out.

Pros

plenty of hours if you are stationed

Cons

Was working for Veolia Environmental Services until they got bought out by Clean Harbors earlier this year. When Clean Harbors took over, our benefits were cut. Health insurance premiums raised as well as deductibles. You can't add your spouse to your plan if they have access to health insurance through their employment. Life insurance was cut from 2x annual salary to 1x annual salary. It is hard to get the supplies that we need at the work site without jumping through hoops. You can work all hours of the day or night, up to 16 hrs.
