Pros

One of the great things about Clean Harbors is that all levels within the company can have a voice at very high levels. Have personally had nearly immediate responses from Corp executives to help address problems we had in the field We like working with people that don't mind working hard. I started as a Field Tech and have many promotions

Cons

Tough job - you might go home tired. Slackers don't make it.

Hard job for the money

Pros

Doing something different everyday. Can make decent money but you'll be working 70+ hours per week.

Cons

Crappy equipment. Not enough money for what you're doing. No set schedule. Different start times everyday. Lies about raises. Out of town travel. On call frequently. Work so many hours that you dont have enough time for a life. They have no cares for dot hours of service.

Pros

I had an amazing team of peers and management. Plenty of overtime, pace yourself or burnout.

Cons

No raises-it had been 3 years since my last raise (also, I'd won a CustomerNOW award on this time frame) Training-this is a very much a "good luck figuring out how to do your job" type job after the initial training. Benefits-sub par at best Advancement-why advance you when they can just add to your current workload? Old equipment- Always breaking down and not making it to customers during scheduled appointments Understaffed- for an office doing roughly $1M a month, there needs to be more than 3 people taking care of everything. Disconnect between corporate and locations-again...3 people running an office billing over $1M a month. Get them some help!

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear you praise your amazing team and management. As for the cons, we are in the process of reviewing our benefit programs and resource needs. It is too bad to hear you were snatched away. We are developing action plans to address our employees' main concerns. Please keep us in mind for the future and potentially become a "boomerang" employee.
