Selling equals paperwork, a lot of it

Pros

Some locations have little micro managing which offers you the ability to make your own schedule. Vacation policy is nice

Cons

Paperwork - you spend close to seventy percent of your time doing paperwork. The numbers upper management want to manage are scorecards that are made up of activities not results. It is sad when durin an hour long weekly call only 2% of the time results centered around selling are mentioned and the rest about numbers on activities and pushes. Have had seven pay changes this year with none of hem for the better

Job changes often, which makes it seem interesting, co-workers are great

Cons

Morale is really low where I'm at, management has made promises to employees that they don't keep, you are cleaning up crap all day long, constantly being threatened with loss of job if work isn't done, on-call, lack of performance reviews and constructive criticism, no career advancement or career path.

Pros

There are lots of great people that work for the company. The company is very stable and will likely continue to grow through internal processes and acquisitions. There is always something new to learn.

Cons

The workload and overall pressure applied is consistently unreasonable. Most projects feel like a death march. Pay is considerably less than equivalent jobs in the city.
