      Pros

      Great work to clean the environment. Large company US and Canada, mainly making sure chemicals don’t go in the ground anymore

      Cons

      No wage increases, management only cares about their bonuses, customers are an inconvenience. Promoting is done at will not because the individual is capable, most times moving up after doing a bad job at last position. Gives the new ideas no chance of changing for the better, the bad manager is now up above and still in control

      Local work environment was a family type environment.

      Cons

      Stay far away from this company. They have no worth in their employees and continue to steal from them. Incentive plan is a joke and I was messed out of $1100 owed to me. No company match on 401 k. Claim that ethics are one of their top concerns, but actions of the company show otherwise. I would avoid working for this company at all costs. Little to no room for growth as well as very poor management.

      Long, long hours, mostly outdoor labor.

      Cons

      Low pay, lousy benefits, no leadership, favoritism, in group politics, high turnover rate, exposure to toxic chemicals, lack of training, incorrect or broken equipment, poor supervision, zero top level management support, frozen pay year after year, top level management brags about their stock options and high pay while cutting their employees to the bone. Only take a position at Harbors if you don't have any choice.
