Pros

It's good work, gets you plenty of exercize, and isn't very hard if you're good at talking to people. There's potential for advancement, but to really move up you might have to relocate if you don't live near a major legislative hub.

Cons

The pay isn't great for a long-term position, so it's better for someone just starting out, without a college education, or getting a college education. It's also unfortunately not that well organized and their fundraising model is outdated and very, very inefficient.

Pros

A great way to make instant friends. Overall working for a great cause.

Cons

Terrible compensation. Workers are paid minimum wage for working their butts off! If you don't make quota, you make even less. Very high turnover rate and lousy training program.

Pros

Very exciting, you really learn a lot about people going door to door trying to get contributions. If you are good at sales, you can make a lot of money.

Cons

After a month or two, the jobs starts becoming really stressful and tiring. You are fired if you don't make your quota for a few weeks in a row. The hours aren't the best either, from 2-9pm. After that you have to go back to the office and organize the money and you don't get home until at least 10.
