Teaches you wide range of transferable skills that are applicable in any field but particularly in the world of NGO's, politics and policy making. Some of the most passionate people I have ever met are in no short supply at CWA and they are a big part of why I continue to work here.

Cons

If you are not willing to throw all of your energy and time behind CWA you really should just not bother. This is not a job you can phone in. CWA will demand more of your time and energy than most employers but it can very much worth it. So much of the turnover in our canvasses is a direct result of missed expectations or poor choice in work for people who really just should not be doing door to door outreach work.
